Navidad Resources, LLC was founded in 1992 and participated in the drilling of numerous prospects across East Texas that has resulted in phenomenal growth. We have robust operations capabilities and are currently engaged in oil and natural gas exploration, production, development and acquisition activities throughout East Texas.

The name Navidad came from the Navidad River of central Texas and is intertwined with the pioneer history and spirit of this great state. The Navidad River region was discovered by Spanish explorers who camped there on Christmas Eve hundreds of years ago. This river was also central in the struggle for Texas independence and the name speaks to a spirit of exploration, innovation and determination. These are the core values of our company.

In 2007, we became a portfolio company of EnCap Investments L.P. Since that time we have implemented an aggressive drilling program and discovered a significant oil field.  In addition to this initiative, we are looking for prospects where we can apply our technical expertise and capital as operator to create value for all parties.
